The Canadian Integrated Health Alliance is excited to announce the launch of the Ontario Healthcare Ecosystem in Toronto on January 27th, 2017.

The “Canadian Alliance” is a unique not-for-profit association that provides provincial and national healthcare organizations from government, academic medicine and industry with direct access to 500+ healthcare organizations and 16,000+ members across 40 countries through Europe, USA, and China.

By connecting healthcare organizations from around the globe, the Alliance’s International Market Access Program allows ecosystem members in Canada and Europe to exchange information, products and services and to build solutions to complex problems in the delivery of quality health and social care much faster than any one organization alone. Moreover, overseas healthcare organizations can now connect with market opportunities in Canada and vice-versa.

“We were founded to facilitate multi-stakeholder connections, to create and strengthen partnerships committed to driving sustainable change in the delivery of health and social care. Today the Alliance is the trusted connector in healthcare as we bring people, organizations, needs & solutions together. We represent and support all sectors working in Digital Health to work together to overcome the challenges facing wider adoption of innovative technology in healthcare.”

Mr. Alex Szucs, President Elect of the Canadian Alliance will manage an ecosystem Working Group tasked with advancing programs that support Active and Health Ageing of Canadian Seniors.

“While many associations focus on innovation, the Canadian Alliance is all about breaking down silos and providing neutral 3rd party leadership to encourage collaboration between often competing interests. While innovation is a natural by-product of collaboration, the Alliance is focused on integration, implementation and sustainability of innovative pilot programs”.

The next meeting of the Ontario Healthcare Ecosystem will follow the Update on Ontario Digital Health Conference in Toronto on March 6th, 2017.
